Airtel 4G LTE Launched in Delhi NCR

Try multiple times. Had happened to me too.

If nothing works, no LTE around!

Don't worry not showing even in my mobile, only reliance jio is showing. My fone too is fdd band 3 only.
I think their network is still not ready for FDD done by ericsson while TDD is near completion done by Huawei or ZTE(not sure).
Coz 2300mhz band was won 5 years back while 1800mhz was won just one year back.
Even Reliance 4g shows when at 2nd floor.

They seem to have launched it.

You can register on their site and it says they'll deliver a free sim within 4 hours. I am skeptical though considering its a Saturday.

My sim had stopped working a few days back so I got a new one. Airtel gave me a 4G one to be future ready.
I asked the Airtel guy about 4G, he said Postpaid customers are getting smses to start 4G while prepaid customers have to wait a month or so. I have prepaid.
I came home and forced 4G only, and voila it works!
Speeds aren't that impressive for 4G, but very good as compared to 3G.
Signals are crap. Like 1 bar average. So I keep it on 2G/3G auto, and force to 4G mostly to show off.

Which tab you using? Showing both airtel n jio 4g?
My fone showing only jio.
