Expected though. Pretty good outdoor speed.

All they need is to start giving outdoor CPEs to the customers. Otherwise this is useless.

@x720 ji... Don't worry.. They already have 6MHz liberalised spectrum in 1800MHz [band 3] for Mumbai circle.. Once they launch 4G on that, the indoor coverage issues will be gone for good... 20MHz of 2300MHz [band 40] for street level coverage + great speed + for heavy loads and 6MHz of 1800MHz [band 3] for good indoor coverage..

Voice fall-back will be on traditional 2100MHz 3G during outdoor and on Platinum 3G [thats what they say] on 900MHz during indoor.. Airtel holds almost 25% of total spectrum [which is the maximum allowed for any operator] in Mumbai...

Yup.. Circuit Switched Fall Back.. As 4G is now used as Data ONLY, the phone will jump to 3G or 2G when a voice call arrives.. When it falls back to 3G the data connection will work continuously but with lesser speed.. When it falls back to 2G, then data connection will be put on HOLD (like in EDGE or GPRS) till the voice call ends..

The problem will be solved if VoLTE is used and there is a rumour that RJio is going to use VoLTE.. But VoLTE tech on 4G is NOT that much matured enough [eg: connecting VoLTE call of RJio to normal voice call of other network] afaik..
