@anmolbhard004 This is exactly why i switched to jio few weeks back. Airtel is latched on 4G and it'll show up as 5G in status bar, This will also exhaust your data from 4G quota.

And if we try to lock it by "NR Only" in Phone info it won't work with airtel, but it does with Jio.

When i try to force it on Nr only mode it shows network as Nr_Sa(data does not work) earlier i didnt used to get any signal on 5g only mode does this mean that are they testing standalone 5g?

They never said they'll be using standalone architecture. In all their press releases they've always sticked to NSA. Let's see You can share screenshots of Netmonster so all of us can see frequency and NR type

I don’t know what airtel did and now 5g download speeds inside my room is around 600-700 mbps and upload speed is around 90mbps.

Few weeks back it was 200 mbps DL | 10 mbps UL

And if i move to market near me its 1 gbps down and 120 mbps upload. May be they added multi mimo

@Rickysin Same for me. In fact, Jio used to give me 800+ DL but recently, Jio 5G at my location and my relative's location (Where I previously used to get over 1 gig easily) has dropped drastically to around 200-300 mbps...probably the "AirFIber" effect

Wow what a coincidence, same with me in case of jio 5g. It now gives upto 300 down max and 20 up
