The video mentioned "does not degrade the general internet quality." However, what is the baseline for this to be considered deteriorated? Like, minimum BW, or minimum latency?

as per the video, TRAI guidelines dont allow telecos to give special priority than prepaid customers so what airtel is supposedly doing would be a violation.

Because what they effectively do is give priority without providing priority. It's kind of an undefined grey area.

Airtel SA 5g is turning into disaster atleast in Hyderabad. Speeds are fluctuating alot and average speed is 10-15 mbps. Upload is also 5-10 mbps.
Though ping remains constant of 10-15 ms idle.
When SA is not available then speeds on NSA is 500mbps and upload of 90mbps with idle ping of 40-50 ms

Airtel 5G SA experience update:
Went from Andheri West to Vashi today
And throughout the day my Phone was on 5G SA instead of 5G SA+NSA
I did notice some improvement in battery drain but its too early to judge it as it could be just a placebo
Speeds were great (felt better than usual) sometimes around 50mbps in heavy traffic ares to reaching 400mbps even while indoor and away from windows (the place didnt have small cell)
Now even at home it constantly stays at 5G SA

iPhone 15 Plus on iOS 26.5
