A relative of mine disabled CWMP on their Airtel 777VR1 modem. They are unable to get it working again, inspite of entering the necessary parameters. Is it possible to enable CWMP again? If so, how to do it?

Yes there is. You'll need to use telnet to access system configuration, and then edit values manually. You can use my article to get telnet working on 777VR1. If editing HTML Element work, then you can skip telnet method. Telnet is more over technical way
