1/ I’ve been using Airtel AirFiber, but the speed is consistently below promised levels. Multiple complaints raised → no permanent fix yet.
2/ To address this, I approached other ISPs like JioFiber, ACT, Hathway, BSNL etc. Unfortunately, all of them said they cannot provide service in my area because of LCO (Local Cable Operator) restrictions.
3/ This creates an unhealthy monopoly, leaving customers with no choice but to depend on one operator, regardless of quality.
4/ The LCO issue is blocking genuine competition. When ISPs are ready to provide service but are denied access because of local operators, consumers lose out.
5/ I seek guidance on:
7/ Requesting inputs from the community and concerned authorities to take this forward.

5/ I seek guidance on:
- How to raise this issue effectively with TRAI / DoT.
- Whether there are legal or consumer forum routes to stop such anti-competitive practices.
- How others have dealt with LCO blocks in their area.
