Airtel bridging mode for Nokia G-2425G-A GPON

Greetings, I've been scouring the forum for help with the aforementioned setting but all I've got are half or incompatible answers. What I would like to do is use the Nokia modem as just a media converter and manage the internet via my personal TP-Link A6 router. Tried this with airtel support before (mailing to net@airtel), were very unhelpful and tried upselling static ip. Unlocked the ont today but still not getting LED on the bridged LAN port (same as before). As of now, I've set the WAN profile in Network same as that before unlocking to use the internet.

What should I do to get the LAN port to send signal to my router? Btw the VLAN binding option is missing. If someone can give a definitive guide as to using one's own router, would really appreciate.

This is just FYI..my post won't help you much though.

The problem is 90% of the people in Airtel tech team don't know what Bridge Mode is.
They give irrational answers like
1. This is not possible
2. We are unable to provide bridge mode (where they actually have no idea what Bridge Mode is)
3. We can do that but then you won't get Internet
4. You need static IP for that

and like that.

For me what worked is that I wrote to [email protected] and asked them to connect me to senior tech expert. Then I explained him what bridge mode is and told him to get connected with NOC team and do the needful. Then it was enabled on my LAN#4 of F670L.

In theory Bridge Mode has 2 - 3 settings
1. Bridge Mode,
2. Port Binding on LAN or even SSID.
3. Reconfiguration of Internet settings on destination router

And if you have static IP, you mostly need to repeat the settings at the destination.

I would be interested to see some screenshots of your relevant settings, as I do not have that router with me.

@rohitks Thanks for the input. As of now I've crawled throughout the forum and telegram groups, finally giving up and ordering a 3rd party ONU [TP-Link XZ000-G7]. Will update here if that configuration is a success. But I hope getting connected to senior backend as you told will bear any fruit if this fails.
