Airtel Broadband 2 mbps download speed is low/ could not download pls help me

i am using Airtel 2 mbps broadband service. and my os is vista. when i try to download files from link-removed, mediafire, hotfiles, ziddu, link-removed and even normal website..the download process was started ..but in middle of the process it stopped, can't move to complete. what is the problem.pls help me.

I would suggest you use a download manager rather than the default option on Internet Explorer.

use flashget. its free and awesomely fast. and it can do torrents as well.
