Airtel Broadband 2mbps unlimited with no fair usage policy?

i have airtel 2mbps unlimited plan(no FUP)...i payd 2999+taxes...I don't use torrents....I use link-removed/hotfile and filesonic for downloading..speeds i get are around 290-300KBps

I pay 1299rs i get morning 1 mbps night 2mbps without fair usage .Initially i was getting 512kbps in morning and 1 mbps in night with 100gb fair usage ,when i applied for the connection in apr2010 airtel introduced speed double for customer so after many mail and calls i got speed double some 5 to 6 months back still no issues .when the cc person spoke to me and told i will be getting speed double i asked her with or without fair usage policy she told me no fair usage policy for me so even asked here to send conformation mail to me with those details she sent me mail with those details like speed double and no fair usage policy i even saved that mail.

I'm a 6 year old customer & they are ready to accept my line disconnection or 256 kbps UL & no more 512/1024 that i was given before for Rs.799.....I don't know what to do as i have no other choice

What about BSNL? Have you considered BSNL as an option?

Yes it's my last option. Reliance disappointed me saying that there is feasibility in my area but not to my street.....

Oh, then I say go for BSNL. You don't have many options. Also consider BSNL 3G if you can.

even I was on 2999 plan but they have started imposing FUP on it....I use torrents though....I had to leave that plan..after 100 GB plus it gets fuked..

Hey just a suggestion you can try. It is possible that Airtel is targeting torrenters and applying FUP. So why don't you use torrific? That way you can download your torrents to a web location and download from there using a download manager. Hopefully you might escape FUP.
