I was amazed at how many ISPs didn't even respond to queries regarding a new connection when I wanted to shift from Tata Indicom.
There was nothing with Tata Indicom, Only thing was that they were merging with DoCoMo but they wouldn't upgrade my existing package to a far better one that they had on DoCoMo.
I had used BSNL before Tata & the packages they offered were lousy. Reliance, I had already burnt my fingers long back....

Airtel was the last one I contacted, Got a call back the same day. I was a little apprehensive about the 40Gb threshold & speed, but the exec said I could use it for a few days & I wasn't satisfied they would take the router back & give a full refund. Gave it shot, applied on a Thursday & Internet was up and running by Monday.
So Far So Good.
