I am also on 1MBPS but when I told them to shift me to a plan from swift 1099 512 KBPS plan to a plan where speed have have been doubled to 256 to 512KBPS they are saying airtel has reduced Fair Usage Policy on it from original plan i.e 6GB. (CALL ND ASK WHAT's THE Fair Usage Policy FOR PLANS THAT HAVE BEEN UPGRADED NOW i.e 256 to 512 KBPS)

So the question is will the same thing apply to further speed doubles once they have been upgrade NOT now as they are not upgraded yet !!

See if they r giving 512Kbps and 100gb fair usage for Swift 1099 .. then they just can't give the same for Home 649 ..Also btw for all their home/student/value plans which r above 256Kbps, they already had tht 15gb fair usage policy ..Those home plans r for just surfers and not heavy users .. So there is no way they will make our fair usage to 5gb ..You r mixing up the plans from 2 different categories ..

I am not mixing them. MTNL offers 512 KBps plans at same price without a Fair Usage Policy or anything as airtel is now offering . So why has airtel reduced Fair Usage Policy on them after increasing their speed from 256 to 512 as per cc.

MTNL is one of the reason airtel is upgrading speeds in Delhi otherwise we would hav been stuck on old speeds nd high BILLS.

Anyways I think end of June everyone will knw what airtel is upto but most probably "Hayai" will launch here before Airtel's so called speed double nd I am gonna shift to it :)
