Airtel are acting like cashwhores... its sickening :(I would have migrated if the speeds after FUK were set to 2MBps... heck even 1MBps would work. BUT THIS IS JUST.... FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU AIRTEL

I'll disconnect Airtel broadband the day I receive such an Email. Simple!

Its very difficult to disconnect with airtel...I have tried after many billing problems....they keep on giving exciting discounts on your bills and you keep getting stuck to them...Recently after discussing with floor superviser I had requested for a disconnect but instead never got disconnected...My downloads worked as per FUP and I used the night rates of Speed on Demand to boost my speeds as my lines were not disconnected.......so what do i get in the bill???....Complete reversal of the plan charges....That means I was charged Rs 0.00 for the plan but got charged for the speed boosts and the landline phone calls. :) ....so they will keep you stuck with them and their stupid plans as they will become free for you :

we always have an airtel sales guy in our area every two months and either they dont know abt FUP or act ignorant. The most common plan they try to sell is 499 one and if its a new guy he always is shocked n says "u r paying 1900 for BB when u can have it unlimited for just 499 only and its unlimited". If i am not in a good mood i pretend to be surprised at their low rates and ask him again n again where the term unlimited is used ;) . Sometimes they go on n on much to my enjoyment though few smart ones catch on when i add in quizzically "i thought this plan has a FUP of 5gb". Some r still dumb enough to say "no problem if u finish 5gb in a day u can still enjoy high speed of 256kbps for the rest of the month". There was one sales guy though who went into an awkward pause for 10-15 sec when i told him my last month data transfer was around 435gb. Thank u Airtel for lifting my mood during these conversations :P

435GB???!! OMG!Anyways, what have all you guys decided on then? I am still trying to delay my decision but I know time is running out :(

holy cow. this is freaking insane. airtel is forcing you to migrate to their crappy new plan! awful. :|

it was just last month coz i d/l some old complete seasons of Stargate and also uploaded movies too. Normally i try to stick to data transfers around 150 - 200 GB

The new plan is terrible, isn't there any ISP offering decent service and plans that still provide usable speeds after FUP (i.e. 1Mbps).
