Open modem settings. In WAN Page uncheck ppp/pppoe and
select \"bridged\" SAVE reboot
Wait for two minutes.
Use a Dialer (Wanminiport ) enter userId and password

hello everybody, can anybody tell me if it is possible to Get IP provided by ISP when using commands like ipconfig rather than DSL Router IP Address
provided for LAN interface.

If it is possible then how do i do it with respect to 110BX1 ADSL2+ROUTER.

if you want to get external ip by only the ipconfig command and nothing else, then you need to shift to bridged mode from ppoe mode.. and use a dialer to connect..

hello superprash2003, iam on Bridged mode and i have setup dialer.

110BX1 ADSL2 MODEM SETUP ON BRIDGE MODE.

Also when trying to use commands like ipconfig /renew and ipconfig /release it says, The operation failed as no adapter is in the state permissible for this operation. Why does that happen in Bridged Mode aswell as in PPP, are there any changes to be made in the Router. Thank you.

2.Try also.
Start RUN type

hello essbebe & superprash2003, actually i dont get the status when Network/LAN/status , details are selected.

There is some sort of Error that is being Generated by my O.S. It says " Generic Host Process for Win32 services has Encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience."
