Happened to me in August and i complained.They rectified it.Has again started happening in December.Lodged a complaint.
And to tell you something interesting.
Today at 6AM i had 81.62 GB left.Nothing was connected to my wifi except my android.Dang at 2.30 it reduced to 80.72 . I called up Airtel at 3.25.And then didnt use the net and damn at 3.55 the data is reduced to 80.32GB.
This is a scam.

The same occurred to me as well. Last week, my data usage of 20 GB is counted as 44 GB by Airtel.
So, today I thought of checking the usage more closely. Since last 2 hours, I barely checked some emails. During these 2 hours usage at Airtel shows 1GB.
This is outrageous!!

Airtel is milking for the last few months they can. Once (hopefully) Jio gets a wider launch, they would need to recalibrate all their plans in most of the cities. People will not forget how they have made them to feel pinched over 1GB of data through their shitty plans and scammy bandwidth meters.
I have found and removed a software that was using bandwidth during the idle period. So, usage is controlled. But it still doesn't account for lots of missing GBs.

The only thing that downloads on a Chromebooks are updates to the OS once or twice a month. And since Google use delta updates, they are usually very small. 90% of the time, the chromebook is loading the Google Finance page. Yet, 5GB is over by about 25th. I have zero idea what happened to the 2GB broadband surprise I got few months ago. Never seen it.

and i thought i was alone. we dont down load stuff , but yet 150 gb gets over . I told airtel and they insist i have consumed data. The problem is we have 2 pc's and 4 phones + one NAS so hard to track where the "data leak" is occuring.
