Airtel Broadband has new Fast and Rapid branded plans throughout India

Migrated to this new tariff plan:

Got 100 INR recurring discount + 1000 mins free local calling as retention benefits.
They said that the 8 Mbps / 100 GB / 1499 INR retention tariff plan is not available for Pune.
 
^^ Yeah I didn't even notice that, if indeed this an actual plan not just a fake pic.
 
Got a call saying my new plan has been activated and i should restart the modem.

Modem restarted.SNR margins have gone down the drain.Speed is still the same.:rofl::rofl:
 
So for just Rs899/- per month [after Rs100 discount] even Airtel is giving 1000 minutes of local calling, 40GB @ 16 Mbps speed and rest @ 1 Mbps..

In case of BSNL the best plan is Rs1445/- 20 GB @ 2 Mbps, rest @ 1 Mbps, 250 free calls and night free calling.

Looks like Airtel has woke up for Rjio launch. But Kumbhakarna BSNL will be ducked up in all cavities by Rjio and will wake up only when last customer is leaving..

That was last month.I was on 8mbps speed and post rain one day the SNR went poor.So complained and it was rectified.

Put in a plan change request yesterday to upgrade speed to 16mbps.So today got an SMS and phone call saying plan change has happened and new plan activated.Please restart modem.

Modem restarted.Now SNR is poor again.Speed still 8.8mbps.
