Forum noobie. There are 3 power data plans available at 8 mbps
Rs. 3000 for 500 GB
Rs. 5000 for 1000 GB
Rs. 8000 for 5000 GB (yes five thousand GB).
Rs. 3000 for 500 GB
Rs. 5000 for 1000 GB
Rs. 8000 for 5000 GB (yes five thousand GB).
The maximum you can download with 8 mbps speed running 24x7 for a month can be only 2000 to 2400 GB. That too if speeds are constant.
Airtel is trying to mock with apparently huge data but at impossible speed to achieve it.
at what speeds? because to download 1000GB in a month...

5000 GB for Rs.8000.. NRIs, who belittle India for dreadful Internet speeds, would have a hard time believing the Golden age of Indian broadband we are enjoying right now.

I am waiting for airtel broadband for long time to come in my area.i am in royapuram.I applied one time initially they said conection feasible but after 1 month they said connection not feasible.I was asking airtel broadband often but no feasibility.Finally i applied for airtel on last week.They confirmed me that they can provide speed of 2mbps 1075 plan 75 gb fup.i said ok.i checked 3 times before paying money.They said they can give connection with limited speed 2mbps.i said ok and paid for connection.2 days after airtel techinical team person called me and said connection is not feasibile and broadband will not come to my area in future because airtel have no interest in expanding connection and giving low salary to thier field executives.he asked me to dont apply for airtel connection here after and he said he had cancelled 3 connections from the same area but still some airtel sales persons doing gimmicks to complete monthly target.he tried to connect sales person in conference but he didnt pick up.he asked to cancel airtel connection.i called to airtel but no response.pathetic service from airtel.
Sad to know that @Idhayakani, same here bro. I wanted an Airtel connection, but they reject my application by saying my street is not feasible as there is constant digging and no expansion of service in the future 
@Idhayakani, @jason29 have you tried ACT? Though they are limited in Chennai as of now but are expanding slowly. Never faced any major downtime and their speeds are like they say Incredible!
@trippytastic again i am unlucky bro. They have reached our area, but not near our street. They are 500-800 meters away from our street and they haven't put any banners in our street
