Airtel Broadband Rumor: No fair usage policies from November (Probably Fake)

OH that sux. Airtel is makin cheap moves these days !! 256kbps is freaking STONE AGEEEEEEEE ! I am switching to MTNL 1899. How is their service ? The exchange is 3km away from my residence.

I am using 1333 plan 1mbps day 2mbps unlimited getting speed what i deserve .. Mtnl rocks man .

Also pings are very good for online gaming .

just 1 problem if u don't have mtnl landline u will take 2-3 weeks for broadband
 
I think Airtel has removed the FUP. By this time I should have hit the limit but I am still getting 2mbps.
 
I keep checking the data allocation remaining on the link which the admin gave as a reply to one of my posts here.That remaining data allocation has been stuck at 72 gb's remaining for the past week even though I have downloaded quite a bit since then.Not saying it has anything to do with the FUP thingy but it was strange since that link used to be pretty accurate regarding my usage.Maybe they'll just deduct it in one go.
 
my speed has been reduced to 256kbps after crossing 5gb limit,so FUP is still exist.
 
Airtel only try to ripoff customers, would never remove FUP (they are the ones who started this).DNS hijacks since yesterday about 80% reached and today finally got FUP'ed.
