Airtel Broadband speed boost

i got a speed boost today ran from 330 pm to 11 pm. then it went back to normal. my conn is 256k. and got 2 mbps speed for almost 7 hrs

recently when i reboot mine modem then i got 400-430KB/s for about 15 hours,i downloaded gta 4 in 10 hours=14 GB :dance::dance::dance:,speed lost in morning today,in one shot of speed boost i downloaded total around 20GB

Is the spooed boost also dependent on whether you use PPPoE/Bridge mode? Because I got a boost when i was in PPPoE mode but as my port forwards donot work, so i switched to Bridge. But the boos was gone. Just wondering..

7 days back around 12.20 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. my speed boost 256 - 4 Mbps and my download speed 447 kBps download 14 movies via torrent and done 10 GB in just 11 Hrs.:yahoo:

yea,something happens in airtel,it do not depend upon any mode or reboot,its from airtel server ends sometime it last for 2-3 hours sometime 15-20 hours,this happens 3rd time with me in 6 months.
hope it will happen again soon

Yes in last 6 months 3 time speed boost to 4 Mbps (4 Mbps MPCG limit otherwise Mumbai, Pune & Ahemdabad Cust speed boot upto 8 Mbps)

already work with airtel around 2 years.

Hey man send me a personal mail i'll give one secret after this when you need you got 4Mbps.(you know Backoffice secret)
