No, you can not remove static ip from Airtel
Business Portal.
officially there is customer care number for business users (atleast told by eSupport). I either call to 18001029892 there regular customer care or write an email to business support to
esupport@in.airtel.com from registered email address.
Process of activation and deactivation i had experience.
Apply for static IP, then an order number is generate, (Not a service Request). After sometime a tech is assigned and he called when static ip is provisioned and ask, how i need it? in default mode or bridge mode or firewall. I always took default one and in some time airtel's backend do the process and in-between internet goes down for couple of mins, reboot your
ONT and you're on static IP.
When I am on static IP, my connection shows as IPoE from PPPoE in
router.
For deactivation i wrote to
esupport@in.airtel.com or call 18001029892.
when I wrote email to esupport, always a order number is generate same as activation and when i have to call to 18001029892, i have to make sure, a order number is generate instead a service request (otherwise it take another day or two for deactivation process) and order number always mention in sms as request ID 21-xxxxx.
when technician calls, just ask tell him you need to remove static ip, it take a day or two, until he forward request to backend and, again your internet is down for between couple of mins to couple of hours, till your connection back in PPPoE from IPoE in ont. Once internet starts, you are on a dynamic/public/local ip from static ip.
technician never visited, for any of process, either its activation or deactivation.
