I mailed customer care and they asked me to send "DATA USE" to 121. And guess what - same result...
In Airtel.in, I see "currently no internet plan is activated on your mobile number" ..
That's why I use dual sim phone, second sim is strictly prepaid and for data use only. can't risk high overage charges on postpaid.
voice+sms on sim1 my main number. sim2 is for data as which i keep on changing for local usage or when in roaming. currently i am using reliance 3g sim with 156 1GB recharge. If on roaming i change with voda 95 300MB sim. But thanks new roaming agreement my reliance 3g sim was working in haryana roaming on docomo 3g.
Hopefully my next phone would be dual sim lte phone.
I too have dual sim, but both Airtel and Voda increased prices such that I estimated my cost to be closer 400-450 for data and calls. 299+tax looked cheaper. Anyway, I intend to call and check every 2-3 days till they fix it
You can port to reliance 321 plan with
500local/std mins
1GB 3G data
300-400national sms(this one not sure)
After tax it'll come to 321+12.36% tax=360
But do check 3g coverage before port.
