Airtel data usage fake?

You should seriously have the SmartBytes page as your homepage so that you get an idea how much you are using or have used on a regular basis.
BSNL has such a crappy mechanism... Takes me 10 minutes to reach the usage details page.

I do not check BSNL usage meter anymore. It's worse than Airtel. Sometimes they do not implement FUP at all. Last time I was FUPed, The backend showed usage of 200GB. My own counter showed 150GB usage. My limit is 175GB.
I now keep control of downloads for the first 25 days of the month. Last five months, I open the taps at full speeds. I do not care if I get FUPed or not.

They raised the prices after my six months were over (there was a hike just after I got the plan I think by around Rs. 150). So my total bill now comes to around Rs. 2528 something.

They raised the prices after my six months were over (there was a hike just after I got the plan I think by around Rs. 150). So my total bill now comes to around Rs. 2528 something.

A total bill of Rs. 2528 works out to Rs. 2250 + 12.36% taxes. So, the hike is Rs 100 only, which is not bad because the Airtel Turbo 150 was originally Rs. 2099 and later was hiked to Rs. 2250. I now pay Rs. 2399 + 12.36% taxes for 4mbps/512kbps/175Gb on Airtel.

well i do get 256kbps after fup and bsnl's bandwidth calculations are stranger than even airtel so there are some other disadvantages.
