Airtel Digital TV Online Subscription woes

Great if you can get the money back.. I wasn't so lucky.. I lost 600 bucks(300 twice).. never got it back.. charged to my card.. but didnt reflect in my dth account.. that was way back in april.. fought with them till september.. lost interest and left it there.. it was like a new ticket will be opened.. after 2 weeks i'll get a sms saying ticket is closed as it is resolved.. i call up to cc asking why was it closed.. they'll say it was closed forcefully as they were not able to reach me in my registered mobile number.. i say to them thats impossible.. they'll say they'll create a new ticket.. i'll ask for their supervisor/nodal manager.. same answers.. same assurances.. and after 2 weeks, the same process starts over.. hope you dont be that unlucky.. Happy New Year fellows...
 
Hey guyz, I am very happy to inform you that the charge has been credited to my Airtel account. I have been recharged. It happened yesterday night. Today morning only I noticed that message. The message came at 6.33 PM. Thanks for all your reply guyz.. @ Pradip, I beleive your problem will be also solved very soon..It seems really a new year started for me!!! WOWWWWWWWW
 
yep, My too got resolved

The service engg came after few phone calls, The installation was good..The quality also is appriciable.
will post on any happenings.

few tips:
1.if issue, consistently follow up with [email protected] (its a documented proof of ur followup)
2.Call the CC, expect that there is no co-ordination between backend team and CC, so preferably record
calls (voice proofs)
3. Cry out at fourms

belive me, ur issue gets resolved.
 
Another problem I faced online recently is that I am unable to link Airtel digital account to my existing postpaid login. When I log in to the site with MyAccount, I get option to "add an airtel Number to the Account", then I get a choice to select where I select "Airtel digital", then it asks me to enter airtel digital customer ID so I enter my account number and the Registered cell phone number.. When I hit submit I see "We are unable to process your request. Please try later. Sorry for inconvinience"...I have tried several time but same screen.. lets see, i have written to them with screen shots. and I wonder when will they ever be smooth on online Operations..! and with issues like swam1231, its scary to continue with them with online business
 
Well.. I am not sure where my money is.. it certainly isn't with me though.. :-(my bank says they've forwarded the payment to the merchant's bank.. The merchant(Airtel.in) says they haven't received any payment instruction from me.. No one is saying who has my money really..
 
@ Swam1234If this helps for u.. While making the payment, I noticed that the Airtel is not the direct party which we send the money. It's a company named ..Idea(not sure of the full name)..It seems they are located in Bangalore...Our payments are made to them and they act like a vendor or something like that..Will try to get the complete details and update it as soon as possible..

Solution to the earlier problem I posted. Cant link account..Basically when airteldigital is installed, using the customer ID and registered phone number, u have to register to the Airtel.in website and create a airtel digital account.Then u can login to your airtel cellphone postpaid account and link it.Once u link accounts, u will see a hyperlink that will help u switch between cell phone account and airtel digital account. (not very user friendly but still acceptable)
 
clanx,swam1231 the name of the payment gateway is INDIAIDEAS.COM LTD , if u have icici bank online payment, u can very well see the name in billing section..payments made. "swam1231" u should follow up with them seriously
