Airtel DTH on Chennai

BIG TV will alays be bigger than Airtel DTH. Reasons for the same: Reliance has built up substantial expertise in entertainment arena. They have Adlabs multiplexes, Adlabs movie production and distribution, They have ahuge library of recent plus old hits. They have entered music arena with BIG music, Movie rentals with BIG flicks, TV content producer - Synergy Adlabs ltd.(the producer of KBC and Kya aap Panchvi paas se tez hain). IPTV and DTH are the extension of an entertainment conglomerate.They are also launching almost 10 channels of their own. They are in advanced negotiations with the largest Cable service provider of Kerela. They will buy them over soon. Nobody can be richer then them as far as content is concerned in entertaiment sector. Whereas Airtel has not succeeded in any of their recent ventures, Bharti insurance has failed miserably, Bharti retail has not taken off. Whatever Airtel might say, they would not be able to launch before october. No DTH operator launches in Monsoon. BIG TV launch will happen this month and the good news is that they have already tied up with SUN TV. One of their channel Surya TV is already on Air. The others would be in 10 days time.:thumbsup:

Ofcourse the largest cable provider in kerala is ASIANET SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS pvt ltd..
 
AIRTEL DTH Seems to be installed. I saw the AIRTEL Antenna installed in our Apartment Complex. I do not have the details. I beleive its been given for AIRTEL Employees.Will post more updates as I come across
