Just to confirm it does work even now. And the latest s/w versions on HD is 402, HD DVR - 401, SD - 255.

yes i can confirm it does work. The problem is you have to pull the plug(turn the socket switch off) of the STB while its running, dont switch off and then pull the plug/switch off , if you try to power off from remote and then follow , it kind of sends a message of last channel viewed for faster recollection of the last channel watched.

So just switch off while running and while booting , follow the procedure.

Just updated , interface looks awesome , but placement SUCKS !!!! WTF volume is on the top left .. WTF ? and the channel detail is now almost at the center of the screen.. stupid airtel

is there a way to go back to older firmware ?

Lol i tried it today and it worked New interface is much cleaner for me.....but I have HD so can i still record using my external drive??

Here are my thoughts - The interface looks wonderful on my plasma- compared to my prev firmware , this one lags a lot.- The volume placement is horrible , it should either be below or top , its somewhere 1/4 from the top- the channel detail interface also is horribly placed , it almost takes the centre space.- too much adds , three ad box , bigger than the menu box itself and one ad box for when accessing the channel details - really airtel WTH are you thinking ?- Have to set the interface pop-up to 1 sec to get rid as quickly as possible.anway the interface is sexy looking , hope airtel fixes these placement issues and also introduce option to turn off the stupid subtitles , but given the downs , is there a way to downgrade to older firmares ?

Best part is now we can use the USB to connect external HDD above 80GB to record TV

Are you sure its working ? I havent tried , since i dont have a empty HDD ,and dont want to take risk with one i have data on.
