Airtel FTTH (ALCL OLT) - Need Working ONU (Tried TP-Link G7, Bridge Mode No Success)

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using Airtel Fiber Broadband, and my connection is coming from an ALCL OLT
I’ve been trying to get bridge mode working on the stock Nokia G-2425G-A ONU, I asked support for this and After 3 days of back and forth with Airtel customer support, they finally enabled bridge mode on LAN 3 and LAN 4 ports. but unfortunately, LAN 3 and LAN 4 ports show no link/activity after they did that. The LAN port LEDs on those ports light up only during boot (for 3–7 seconds), then turn off completely.

I also tried using a TP-Link G7 ONU (XPON ONU-Router), thinking it might work in place of the Airtel ONU. But Although it registers (it shows O5) on the network, I am still unable to connect as the PPPOE Connection fails.

Can anyone recommend a tested, working ONU model that works with Airtel ALCL OLT?
 
Brdr, getting a G7 is tantamount to burning your money😔🙏🏼

Please get a VSOL and enjoy freedom from the stupid Nokia ONT and the f-up that the Airtel nincompoops did to it.

@tr1k0N4 Yeah, buying the g7 was a huge mistake on my side. I only need a onu(and with a telephone port will be a huge plus) since i already have multiple AP's. So the v-sol looks good for me. Do you might know the price or the model number.
 
XZ000-G3 works perfectly for Airtel fibernet. Orelse buy TP-Link xr500v model which support airtel fibernet and telephone. I used xr500v for 4 years in ppope mode without any issues in place of G-2425G-A. just pasted serial number and used it.
