1 month ago my router was showing WAN IP which is my public ip and the gateway ip which was also a public ip then later something changed and it started showing WAN IP which was not my actually public ip and the gateway changed to some private ip and i was getting better internet and latency in that setup now yesterday i switched my prepaid connected to postpaid connected and it changed everything now my gateway is again public ip which is causing high PING within same state.
i am near Gwalior MP my gateway is 122.169.32.1
that is really high tech team suggested me to switch to static ip, will that work ? also the local tech guy knows nothing
