Airtel giving excuses for Postpaid to Prepaid migration!

AFAIK, airtel rate cutters no longer apply for land lines in Mumbai circle. Kinda sucks.

Call Rate cutters for Vodafone also not working for landline. For MH circle, I recharge with Rs 71 for having local calls at 1.6p/2 sec for 56 days (2 months back for 60 days). But its not applicable for landline.

Yes so .. they should write... "Local and STD mobile calls @1p/s"

But no they purposely have kept it to cheat people.

So I wrote an e-mail to airtel asking them to correct their website and I get a template reply.

We would like to inform you that the Recharge done on 07/12/2014 of Rs. 90/- was successful as per the Recharge denomination for your mobile number.

Recharge: Rs. 90/-
Benefit: Local and STD mobile calls at 1paise/second

Ofcourse here charges written are correct but point is my e-mail as completely overlooked.

People keep telling me that airtel charges higher amount because their customer support is best.

Even since I have started Airtel using products, I have not found them any different. Infact I always see frauds happening with airtel.

Switch. Live with less coverage, but more peace of mind

LOL. Now I am at peace. I am back to prepaid (after 1 month delay)

Now next move to start complaining Idea about poor network coverage at my location.

And after 3 months may switch to idea if network becomes good.
