I bought a New Airtel Sim yesterday Noon..
Well, I asked the Retailer to do an E Recharge for 2 GB Plan & He Did an Rs 98/- Recharge..
I have opera mini 4 pre-installed with my Nokia 5130 XpressMusic! I tried connecting,but it didn't worked!!
Well, I went back to the retailer and He Dialed *567*11# from my phone & I got a message from airtel saying - "your request for activation volume based charges is being processed & you'll be notified soon.."
I also called the airtel customer care & asked if my 98 plan is activated.. he said it is activated!
WEll then I asked him for airtel mobile office settings & saved the new one too..
But whatever I'm doing I can't connect to internet!! I use opera as I said & the little EDGE box ain't even coming for a mili second & shows error!
Summary :
1. New Sim! - Fully activated, can call and send messages!
2. Rs 98 E-Recharge!
3. *567*11# -
Got the following reply : "your request for activation volume based charges is being processed & you'll be notified soon.."
4. Called CC to get settings..saved the new settings too!
Is it because I recharged first then activated gprs.. I dont think so!
Tried Everything.. It ain't working! :madness:
Please can someone tell me what to do...Shud i wait for that processed thing.. how long it would take to activate... Its been like more then 24 hours I activated the plan!
