Finally Airtel 4G launched PAN India 4G services today. Now active in 296 towns across India. Plans are expensive as expected. But its priced at value of 3G.

I checked for feasibility on Airtel site, it says service not yet available in my area.

10 GB plan is cheaper than wireline. But no 512kbps unlimited.

I've been thinking about RJio 4G launch coming next year. At this point, we can only speculate about the pricing.

Lets say, RJio launch 4G plans at half the prices of Airtel. I think it still can't replace wireline Broadband at home. 4G still has very limited connectivity and speed is unreliable. TRAI has not set minimum speed guidelines for 4G.

And the plans i mentioned above are for Home Wifi connection. On mobile, Airtel 4G is still very expensive. More than 300 Rs/GB.
