instead of merging and cutiing jobs for cutting costs......why dont they just introduce some good broadband plans..?!their Mobile services are top of the pack i must say.! don't know about the DTH part!

their recent plans are pretty good as per their own standards. you cannot really compare them to either beam or reliance simply because of their availability and service quality.

i am of course more worried about the merger... why? because their mobile and dth customer support is pretty bad compared to their landline and broadband support.

and the merger can totally mess up the whole thing.

airtel presence is of course responsible for all airtel branded consumer services... but the fact remains, their broadband customers are generally more satisfied than mobile customers.

A few years back, there was news of them merging their landline and mobile billing.. it never materialized.This may have a similar fate.

this merger would probably make it a possiblity. they already offering single billing for phone/broadband/iptv. adding mobile and dth would enable them to offer the complete package.
