Am using Nokia 5230 and using Airtel's Mobile Office. Am facing a wierd problem. After exactly 3 hours (+1/-1 minute), GPRS connection disconnects after which balance is shown and in case am using Gravity (or any other mobile app that requires GPRS connection) then the GPRS connects again. This process keeps on repeating. I've talked to Airtel cc but beside resetting GPRS settings, they aren't doing anything. I'd appreciate any help in this matter. Thanks in advance :)

Looks like a genuine and unique problem. Haven't heard about such a problem till date. How's the signal strength? 100%? 50%?Email your circle's nodal officer at once. I'm sure they'll fix it.

check if there's any setting in handset is doing a time-out or auto-disconnect.go through all options in GRPS setupwhen i use Airtel GPRS in usb modem, max i've kept it on is for 6-7 hours without any auto-disconnect.

I have already written to Airtel Presence. They weren't of much help. And before writing to nodal office i wanted to know if it's just me or someone else is facing the same problem.

I couldn't see any such setting. Could you point me as to where exactly do you alter the gprs settings?
