Airtel Night Unlimited (798NU) plan not discount NIGHT usages in Unbilled Usage

From this billing cycle (26-Dec-09), my unbilled usage is showing even the night usages. So since I download at night (10-8), my usage is showing like 5GB in just these 4 days. Earlier I used to see every night there was a session start at 10:11 whcih had charge = Rs. 0 .. whcih used to assure me what my real day time usage was (limit is 5GB). But now, Airtel is saying they don't have access to unbilled usage and all benefit will be applied after the billing cycle. But how is it possible, considering, one must know what his real (non night) downloads are so that he uses internet accordingly (to keep it within the 5GB limit). They must consider/deduct the night usages from their unbilled calculation.. right ? Or is it just a temporary technical issue ?

I always thought Airtel worked this way, that is calculate the discount on Night Unlimited at the end of the billing cycle. If that is the case, why dont you install some software to keep track of all your downloads and uploads to be on the safer side?

Nope, that wasn't the case for my first month (Dec) unbilled usage.. they used to show Rs. 0 as I have said above. Come on.. isn't there any Airtel NU user here ????

Just wanted to update that Airtel resolved the issue for me.Had to send an ugly mail to their zonal officer and they got the issue fixed by their technical team..took 20 days for the issue to fix. My billing was on hold till then.And now, all my night usages show Rs. 0 in the "Unbilled Usage" page without even having to turn off my modem. But I still do that sometimes when I have heavy downloads
