Airtel now putting Static IP customers in CGNAT if they use PPPoE

@Gaurav15 actually Airtel does not need to charge at all for IPv6 as there's no dearth of addresses now and into the distant future probably a century or more. That's why TPF gives an IPv6 static address for free (it's actually the 1st 8 octets & PD while the rest is handled by your local DHCPv6 server and device).
On the other hand Airtel charges for a static IP as they are in short supply and have become expensive to procure. Remember most of the world is still on v4. Hence the move to CGNAT and ever increasing static IPv4 rates. When I first got my IPv4 it was 99/mth then 199/mth when I gave it up. And now 299/mth. Taxes extra of course
Yeah it's a rip-off coz it's a pricey commodity as of now.
BSNL still assigns a public IPv4 + v6 address. I have 3 connections from these different ISPs and their policies differ due to their customer base. BSNL is nowhere are popular as Airtel, TPF or Jio in FTTH all of which use CGNAT v4 + public v6.
