well, it seems to be removed from my account. I haven't subscribed before as i have used flipkart supercoins to get zee5 subscription. I was moved to platinum tier afterwards.

@MadAxe even Netflix was onetime offer. And it was more beneficial for existing netflix accounts, which got onetime credit of 1500, to be adjusted against existing plan. Lasted 8 months for mobile only plan.
However, Amazon offer can be used for same Amazon Account from different airtel numbers.

Airtel Removes Zee5 Premium Subscription From Its Broadband Plans

Zee5 is no longer part of Airtel Thanks benefit, and now the user will only get Amazon Prime subscription and Xstream app benefits with their broadband plans, as per the companys website.

I guess Zee will see a dip in number of subscribers soon enough. Unlike Netflix/Amazon Prime/ Hotstar, Zee5 doesn’t have as good a selling point.

They do have a lot of local content. Hindi shows basically from what I have seen.

zee5 does have some hindi content, particularly those with Balaji. but its main viewers are mostly those using free benefits of either airtel or vida. so premium members bound to come down.
