Airtel Thanks App - Non Airtel Number

Can Airtel Thanks app be used on other or non airtel numbers or ported numbers? The customer care executive said it is possible. Any experiences?

Yes. They have products that aren't exclusive to "airtel" customers, like payment bank, UPI and stuff.

I think you need to define use a bit more - like bank, upi mentioned above should be possible. You can recharge other operators numbers as well.

Yep I have a jio no as main no linked & can see all linked stuff like bb, dth, other mob no via thanks app.

@mreccentric Yes it works on non Airtel numbers too. I have a Jio no. and use the app to top up my broadband, DTH and Airtel prepaid SIM plans.

I was also using Idea number (now ported to Airtel) as main number for maintaining DTH Account in Airtel Thanks App from last 2 or more years.

Thanks for the replies. It did work for non airtel number, but the UI is not so great. To manage other numbers, there is a need to go to further options.
