Airtel VPN issue

Hi,

I have two connections one ACT(300 Mbps) and other Airtel.(200Mbps)

There is issue wrt to my office VPN. I connect to some Singapore server via office Cisco VPN.

In ACT I am getting ping of 80 ms on almost all speedtest servers in Singapore and dl/upload speed is 120Mbps/ 180Mbps.

However when I use airtel ping is 200 ms and dl/ul speed is 20/70Mbps.

I use lan cable. Can someone please help me.

i guess tracert would provide the important data here. airtel routing might be taking a longer route than act.

The routing is messed up from the starting point itself in Airtel. You can try tweeting/DM to Airtel Cares twitter account and hope that they fix the routing

I raised ticket yesterday, some guy from airtel team visited, he saw all this and then he called up someone from backend team and they are like they can't do anything about 3rd party proxy servers. Hard luck.

So you want pings less than the ACT connection ? I mean why not use the ACT connection as its working fine. Does it go down a lot of times ?

No, ACT connection is working well, I am planning to switch to Airtel completely as airtel has added advantage of landline and option of choosing 1Gbps

Airtel:

ACT and Airtel routes seem identical. Is that correct ? At least the first gateway (30.159.80.1) should be different for ACT and Airtel.
