My city is Rohtak. How do I know if they will come through LCO or directly give connection. In some cities in Haryana they're giving through LCO (Sonipat, Yamunanagar), in others they give directly (Panipat, Karnal, Ambala). Is there a way to find out how it will be in Rohtak?

Also, Jio fiber is available in my area directly without LCO, will airtel still come in this area (if they provide directly) or they generally target areas with no competition or only LCOs (most of which are pathetic)?

Afaik, if airtel provides upto 300 mbps, it's from lco. If it's upto 1 gbps, it's directly from airtel.

most probably LCO based. call airtel.

update: even few lco cities 1st started prepaid plans.. after few months they r move to post paid plans like 100mbps to 1gbps

@Roy some LCOs are just assholes. I’m not going to take the risk. One major benefit I see in airtel and Jio is freedom from LCOs. That’s why if airtel doesn’t provide direct connection, I’ll get Jio.

I'm from a small city. Airtel recently debuted its Xtreme fibre services in my area on their own. No LCO involved. Before this, Airtel in my area had been offering 2 Mbps DSL on copper for the past 11 years.

But here LCO have zero role.
LCO is just a commission based agent/labour .
