Airtel wifi problem.Need Help

I have airtel connection with 777vr1 modem.This modem has very bad wifi range, random disconnects and speed issues. The wifi signal strength of neighbours shows 'Excellent' whereas signal strength of this modem shows' Good' only. Are these problems due to settings or modem?Need help.

Try escalating the issue and show the engineers the problem faced. Perhaps they can arrange for a replacement or new router.
