Airtel Xstream Fiber Broadband 1gbps ultra plan with unlimited data (~3TB) for Rs. 3999+GST (Rs. 4719)

Unfortunately I got a SMS from Airtel that they can't provision their FTTH service at my residence. :(
 
Airtel should think about removing FUP from the plans costing 999 and above. Tbh, their coverage for broadband isn't that impressive and this is one way they could compete with local ISPs. At least they should think about increasing FUP limits. 300GB on the 1099 plan doesn't suffice in this day and age of streaming.
 
I hope they will change their other plans FUP too, so far they have only added this new 1 Gbit plan but others are as-is currently.
 
i have asked for plan change to 1 gbps plan just to try out . but their backend is not yet ready to update this plan. they told will get back in 24hrs with update.
 
@droid do post your impressions of the speed quality after you get upgraded to 1 gbps :D
 
Being airtel , i have high expectations. Let's see how it holds up ... Eagerly waiting myself. But not going to keep it for long though, very costly with no actual use case for me 😆

OT but anyone can tell if the Bonus data they offer is a one time data or monthly data? I tried to get a new connection from Airtel but they aren't giving any special offers here though I only need the connection for less than 6 months
