Airtel Xstream Fiber Broadband in Patna/Bihar

Airtel do require some approval from BSNL for landline in LCO cities.

Maybe Airtel can't be bothered to take permissions from BSNL babus in every LCO city and have just left customers without a VOIP line.

got airtel xstream in hajipur , bihar in feb 2022 working fine till now.. very rare downtime.. get about 3-4 ms ping on bharti airtel patna server.. technician is quite prompt.. BUT STILL ITS OCT 2022 AND NO SIGN OF FIXED LINE/ LANDLINE/VOIP CANT UNDERSTAND WHY?

Has Airtel started providing the landline facility in Patna? I asked the installation person, he said landline would also be provided with connection

Someone at this ISP misconfigured the "blocked by court order" hijacker and now it's hijacking ~all HTTP connections (including connectivitycheck.gstatic.com, that means no internet for android phones) and TCP resets most HTTPS connections (including api.cloudflare.com, github.com).

(at least for gateway 223.235.31.255)

Use a VPN or something that isn't using airtel as their upstream until they rollback.

I've been hijacking connectivitycheck.gstatic.com myself so other people in my network can use the internet for the moment

in 2020, airtel started offering its services in many cities across Bihar, including Muzaffarpur, through LCOs. However, things have changed now. Airtel operates its services directly, and landline service is also working properly. A few years ago, they used to provide speeds higher than the advertised plan—for example, 50 Mbps on a 40 Mbps plan, 120 Mbps on a 100 Mbps plan, and 240 Mbps on a 200 Mbps plan. They no longer do that. Even if you're an Airtel Black customer, the entry-level fiber plan in Bihar is now 30 Mbps for ₹599 + GST, not the 40 Mbps ₹699 + GST plan.

My city 😅 I don’t know why they included broadband too. Restricting mobile internet is understandable, but why broadband as well?
