I am from Davangere city , Karnataka.... previously in my area BSNL ftth was the only available fiber broadband service.....I wanted to BSNL get recently announced 599 60Mbps unlimited plan...but BSNL babus refused to provide that plan and told me choose other costly limited plans, when it's clearly mentioned on BSNL site that 599 plan is available on pan India basis except Andaman and Nicobar, but still they refused to give connection...

so I ditched them and didn't took their ftth connection....after this few weeks passed, one day few people were pulling cables from the electric polls in front of my house, they told it's airtel fibre, after that within few days other guy was installing optical terminal box behind my house on previously existing telephone line pole(which just about 15-20 meters from house) he told it's Airtel fiber box..I was very happy and registered intrest for fiber connection on their app, got sms mentioning that airtel fiber will be live in my locality very soon...about week or two passed Airtel booking guy called me that they have launched fiber service....

I booked 799 100Mbps plan + gst for 6 months, which total costed Rs. 5234.... that includes free Nokia G-2425G dual band ont+ router with two external antenna, free installation ( no single extra penny for cables to my home, or installing service engineer)....so after payment they took about 6 days to install(plan strated from day of activation not from the day of payment)...

Speed always above 100Mbps, like 119Mbps or 120Mbps( I think Airtel fiber is the only ips which offers more speed than the promised one) using it since a week.... extremely happy with their service.....

Before this I have even registered for Jio fiber for 10-12 times, contacted local Jio office, but they never cared, they said whenever it's available in your area they will inform, they never bothered that much nor interested...

I am feeling lucky to have Airtel Fiber connection where in other metro cities still it's not available in many localities
