the eye is doing a great job of that. probably the most interesting character on the show.

How do you watch this show so quickly? I can't even watch the so-called best episode, the 5th one. Felt like I had spent an hour, but in reality, I was only 25 minutes in.

They wrote another creepy, slow-talking guy for the 5th episode. This is not the best episode. This is just as dull and lame as others. Also, the sheer level of incompetence of each character. The fuck are you experimenting on two creatures at once and not even bothering to close the second container or checking it? And then leaving a water bottle open right next to the creatures. You all deserve to die.

Wasted 42 minutes on locating the culprit and the proof was right in front of them on computer's disk that the security officer didn't bother to check?

I think I understand how an episode is written. This is for the 5th episode alone.

Script of the episode. Dammit, that's just 3 lines.
Time to expand it into a screenplay. Dammit. That will barely be over in 20 minutes.

Create a new department - Stretch the episode team - some of the tricks they use

1. Make the monitor font extremely small so you can't read at first glance. The guy in front of the screen gets shocked. Zoom and pan to his face to show the shock. Slowly turn the camera towards the monitor to show the screen. Then wait for 10 seconds and zoom again to show you the guy's reply. - That's a minute for 1 single query. Bravo.

2. Instead of quickly cutting between someone drinking from the bottle and keeping it on the table, slow down the video and tell the actor to be gentle and treat the bottle as if its made of paper.

3. Creepy guy has been asked to say a single sentence in 35-40 seconds. And that's just for 5 words. For 2 sentences, he should take 2 minutes but not before he inserts long pauses between multiple words which can stretch a couple of sentences to a good 3 minutes. - That's quality television right there.

4. Each character will be given a pointless backstory that has no bearing on the plot. That's like 10-15 minutes more. Along with pointless banter that I really am not interested in. Like why the fuck do I want to know what the guy will do once the mission ends since I already know he will die soon.

This show is full of gems like these.

Finally finished the 6th episode. Surprisingly found it way easier to finish than the other episodes. Here is my episode summary:

The pregnant manchild gets her memory wiped, which angers the scientist husband, who then gets fired. The sister manchild also gets angry coz of the same and her brother asks for help from the scientist husband to escape the island. The scientist husband finds one of the manchilds dead in the lab, so he goes and opens every door and gets facehugged. This means the manchild, who was threatened by the soldier, uses this opportunity to escape with the body.

I skipped the whole CEO sideplot because it is not relevant at all.

Finished the 7th one. It is the shortest episode of the season with 41 41-minute runtime (excluding the credits). Praise the lord.

Here is the episode summary:

Brother tries to leave the island with the sister and the pregnant manchild. But on seeing that his sister can use his new alien friend she freed to kill anyone in their way, incapacitates the pregnant manchild and sabotages their plan. The ship's security guard arrives on the island with his attack team and gets angry that the manchild couldn't secure the facehugged body coz the face alien died to keep the plot interesting. He tries to kidnap them but gets arrested by the ceo's army, who also arrest the angry sister and the idiot brother.

kirsh could have kept things simple by killing marrow but of course... scripts needs him to stay alive and cause more issues in final episode i guess.
