Alternate ONT suggestion

@RandomIndian LCO said that they use serial number with mac cloning. They scan the label of ONU which is at the back of the ONU. So, I am confident that TP-Link with mac and serial number cloning will work.

Spinning with serial number cloning; didn't work for me. PON was stuck at AUTH state.

I just got excitel bridge mode working, had to change mac address to that of listed on portal. @imdarkray
