I tried a lot to solve this problem, because bsnl persons were not confident to solve this. Ultimately here is the solution.....firstly open your web browser and then go to 192.168.1.1login with username: admin password: adminthen..go to Configuration on the sidebar and then click on InternetThen add a connection with the following properties: vpi:0 vci:38then click on nextand select network type as "bridging"then click on next then applySO FAR SO GOOD.....one more configuration.....in the same "INTERNET" edit the pppoe connection keep vpi vci as 0/35 and then click nextselect network type as " pppoe" and " lic/snap" then click on "next"enable "nat" and "default route" and then click nextthen enter your connection details as service name: "bband" user name : [your username] password: [your password] select always on and then click next and then applynow you don't need to dialup again and again congratulations!!!
