1) download and install apptofire from playstore on your mobile phone
2)download and install your desired app on your phone (es file & downloader)
now open apptofire and transfer both app on your firestick.

Apptofire is not working on 4k stick.

Amazon disabled remote APK installation via ADB so apps like Apps2fire are no longer working. ES File Explorer is able to install apks just fine. It also has a built in downloader which can download files if you click a link from browser.

es file manager and downloader not available on app store..

Got es file explorer running using apptofire app, now how do i remove annoying sound fron ES for navigation? Is there a way get pro version on the stick as i installed it and said not valid license.
