Noticed there are multiple Amazon sellers using similar names of the genuine one - Cloudtail

I don't see cloudtail often now, maybe discontinued. When buying some product came across these stores with suspiciously low number of ratings, all have similar names like cloudtail.

cloudnine india Amazon.in Seller Profile: CloudNine India - - could be genuine, few months ago I bought a expensive utensil from this seller. At that time didn't noticed it is different from cloudtail. I hope its genuine their about seller is same as real one, only issue is ratings nos are not anywhere close to real ones like Amazon.in Seller Profile: RetailEZ Pvt Ltd RetailEZ Pvt Ltd

Cloudtail India Retail Inc Amazon.in Seller Profile: Cloudtail India Retail Inc -Looks like scam - low rating and from about seller. "jK TRADING CORPORATION (Cloud Retail Inc) is the flagship brand of NISH N SHRESH Dry fruits"

Cloudtail Zone - Amazon.in Seller Profile: Cloudtail Zone - was about to buy a product today from this seller, it was slightly cheaper than brand direct seller as it is the case normally with amazon official ones. Somehow checked lifetime rating and its very less (nos). But rating overalll is high. About seller is suspicious - "We are dealing with Kitchenware products."

Amazon should mention seller history and actual company name, address atleast they hide behind their proxy seller address. Very difficult to know if its the real brand or not even if name is similar to official one. Actual brand direct one should have some tags to indicated official and all other resellers or just don't mention anything.

Ban these scam sellers tricking customers with names similar to genuine ones like cloudtail and its variants.

I hope the cloudnine one is real

with no usable customer support available, it is best to just evaluate if ordering something is worth the risk. if there is a return policy, fine. if not, just be prepared to take the entire order as a complete loss.

Fortunately my ordered product from 'CloudNine India' was fine, but with such seller there is always doubt about genuineness.

It's becoming a PITA to order stuff online first it was flipkart now Amazon.

On mobile its impossible to see all seller details. Support cannot confirm if the seller is really a genuine one.

Its so obvious the other two sellers I discovered using cloudtail name are trying to impersonate and fool people. There will be many more doing such tricks. Should be pretty easy to flag such names.
Its extremely difficult to keep track of the official one as there are so many different random names now - Clicktech, RetailEZ, RK world, Inkart retail etc

one way to identify Amazon affiliate sellers is to check how many reviews they have. proper sellers would have reviews in five digits or more.

flipkart makes no sense. trying to order bandaid pack that amazon just would not let me order and they want me to pay 47 rupees in fees?

bandaid pack

yes for Amazon thats an easy indicator but there are sellers like Inkart Retail and cloudnine which I think are genuine but on 3 digit ratings and inkart one looks like a dropship seller, all china imported cheap products.

Flipkart also changed their site design, terrible its made for mobile browser only. Mobile users use app, it makes no sense to turn their website so useless for pc users. Though they always wanted to do that, few years I think they completely myntra and flipkart website trying to be app only or something like that happened.

It's going the restaurant industry way, instead of showing full price they add these charges later.

Even with all the data of your order history they treat all scammy and genuine customers same, no support, no return only replace or worse deal with manufacturer yourself.
With some products openbox policy can cancel warranty. And delivery guys barely let you check things properly during openbox deliveries.

Cost of cheap product is extra stress.

TIL Amazon uses some "commingling" method for inventory management. So basically they mix inventory of all direct and third party sellers. Even if u buy from direct seller but at your nearby fulfillment center has stock from third party, u will get that.
So stupid policy. Customer pays extra to buy from reputed seller and amazon fools you.
