i am pretty sure i was able to install that directly. but use vlc instead. mx did not work for me well on the fire tv stick.
also install Terrarium TV on your fire tv stick. you would have to use a third party app like this to install it. you can use this app to install any apk on your fire tv stick. should work with mx player as well if it does not appear on the integrated app store.

Flipkart has had a video section for a while - not sure if anyone sees that. I guess they just wanted to have something equivalent. Maybe studies show that this can increase engagment in the app and hence potentially increase sales.
