i used Amazon Music once in August 2019 and thats about it ,even Spotify free was better than amazon music in 2019. I had hoped maybe amazon music would improve as years went by but they didnt.

i dont understand how did amazon think this is a good idea?

Amazon Prime Music and Amazon Music are two different products. If you are talking about trying it in 2019, back then Amazon Prime Music had only like 8-10 million songs and Amazon Music which was not in India had over 100 million. But now I believe both services have the same number of songs. But yes, compared to other services, Amazon Music is still shit.

Yes. They always were. In the table in the original post what they are calling Amazon Music for Prime members is Prime Music. To launch Amazon Music, it is removing features from Prime Music. It's what they did in other countries as well.
