Here's Why Amazon Canceled One-Month Prime Subscription in India

Amazon has temporarily discontinued new member sign-ups for Amazon Prime free trial as well.

No free trial. No monthly plans. Either choose 3 months (₹ 329) or 1 year(₹ 999).

Reason: Debit card, credit card auto-payment rules change from April | Finance

Prime is 100% worth it... Take it for a year, let your whole family use it

Prime is majorly worth it because of free delivery, Prime Video is just a plus

I dont care about delivery much. I order few items here & there - and many already have free delivery. I have ICICI Amazon card - so I get 5% instead of 3% with Prime and there are some Prime specific discounts for bill payments/recharge etc. So that holds value for me than delivery. I also like the fact that I am able to able to watch many new movies as they come on Prime first.

Bottom line, for each their own.
