Amazon Prime Video restricting resolution to 1080p HD on firestick 4k in India

On rebooting the JioFiber ONT, it switches the channels of the APs. Earlier my Firestick was able to detect the 5 Ghz AP but now it doesn't. Firestick does not support DFS and neither can i change the channel.What do I do?

My iPad is streaming Amazon Prime at 720p and on my TV it’s at 1080p, for now. Hope it doesn’t get jinxed. I watched 7 episodes of Supernatural today and the quality seemed fine.

A little off topic. But how is supernatural?is it good.

It depends. I find it interesting, but some complain of a lack of a steady and consistent plot. I’d say there’s almost like a cult following for the show.

Press Ctrl + Shift + Alt + D for Netflix A/V stats. It shows the current resolution and other parameters.

on fire stick it shows HD along with the time. this is for 1080p content

Fine here on the Fire TV Stick (non 4k). Shows HD only initially after which it switches to 1080p which is the maximum it supports.
